Maternity Photos with Sarah Thrift Photography

I’m so excited to share my some of my favorite photos from our Maternity shoot! I started following Sarah Thrift Photography a year or so ago and instantly loved her sunset drenched photos, I adore the moodier feeling that her photography gives off. The fact that she’s local and just plain fun to work with is a bonus! A few months ago I volunteered for a model call she had for a Boudoir session and while I was super nervous, I am SO glad I did that! 10/10 recommend a boudoir session to ALL women.

Okay back to the Maternity photos…

My only request for our location was that it wasn’t “beachy” – we live in a Coastal community so that is something that I see often and I just wanted to do something a little different! Sarah did not disappoint, we went to the Wildlife Refuge in Tappahannock, VA (which I am a little embarrassed to admit I had no clue existed!) So many great areas to explore – we’ll definitely go back with Baby Girl one day!

This pregnancy has been whirlwind (we didn’t find out we were expecting until I was almost 9 weeks) but I have never felt more confident, lovely or strong in all my life. I still find it hard to believe we’ll be meeting our girl in just a few weeks!
