About Me

In April 2016 I created VA Girl Eats (formerly @vagirleats) on Instagram… The goal was to share all of the yummy food I find (and eat) both in Virginia and throughout my travels… In late 2017 I decided that I wanted to share more than food and That VA Girl  | @thatvagirl was born. My blog is my creative outlet from the 9-5 world, here I will share travel photos/tips, food finds and recipes, fashion consisting of affordable finds with the occasional splurge, DIY projects and anything else I find interesting – I hope you enjoy!

Who Am I?

My name is Jamie and I live in beautiful Virginia with my husband Chris, our yorkie Roxanne and two cats Kittie and Monster. I love spending time with my Family and Friends. I am a bit of a Wanderluster – I love travel in all forms (give me a good road trip any day!), I am a textbook Libra and Jeopardy addict. I love taking my camera out any chance I get. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, DIY projects, decorating, reading travel books, cooking and eating out!
